Aron Ouwerkerk

Aron Ouwerkerk is a second-year Master’s student in early modern history at Utrecht University. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Classics at the University of Amsterdam in 2020. He specializes in Neo-Latin literature, epistolography, and female scholars from the Low Countries and is working on a critical edition of the Latin correspondence of Elisabeth Hoofman-Koolaart (1664-1736). At SKILLNET, he focuses on the idea(l) of the early modern Republic of Letters as it was conceived, performed, and observed by contemporaries.
